I very much agree with you about trying new things, that we can garner a lot of benefits from being uncomfortable. I first thought about that idea I found in Ultralearning book, written by Scott Young. I had a different path. I started as a theatre actor and then moved to a writing career, coursework writing, specifically primarily for this site https://edubirdie.com/coursework-writing. In the beginning, it was a very uncomfortable path, but thanks to a book that I had mentioned before, I realized that this is ok and even better for me. Now I feel much better, and my confidence grew because I overcame something hard for me before.
